“Apothecary’s handkerchief” Game

“Apothecary’s handkerchief”

Lyrics:

I lost my handkerchief
Playing in the beach
My mother didn’t give me another
Mite as well look for it

Apothecary’s handkerchief
Lost out there, where is it?

Rules of the game:
1 – The children make a circle, sitting on the floor, and sing the first part of the song.
The player, who has the handkerchief, walks outside, around the circle.
2- When the children begin to sing the second part of the song, the player leaves the handkerchief near a colleague, and starts to run. This colleague, harvesting the handkerchief, chases him around the circle.
The player who left the handkerchief has to get to the same place and occupy his colleague’s seat without getting himself caught.
3- If the player who posted the handkerchief allows himself to be caught, he stays brooding in the middle of the circle and only exits when another player is caught.

If you haven't guessed yet,
Where is the pretty ring, That my hand has left?
